Merch items for William Crooks Spring 2023. Graphics detail lyrics and themes from Crooks’ 2022 album “Running as fast as I can” and feature original illustration.

William’s music of the time allegorizes finding connection to the human experience. Hailing from rural Georgia, he juxtaposes his own spiritual journey to that of his community’s traditional southern ties to religion, also in mind of the deforestation and destruction of his rural community as a result of commercialization. Lyrics include sentiments like “I’d rather die in the woods”, and astract experiences of finding spiritual connection in the places developers developers have demolished.
