BOWLING SHOES DOOMSCROLLER

Cover artworks for Bowling Shoes’ 2021 EP DoomScroller, including artwork for singles “Donut Phone”, “Billion Dollars”, and “DoomScroller”.

Bowling Shoes is a New-England-based, modern power pop trio. Their sound takes influence from old school rock n’ roll but revamped with playful vocal melodies, energetic guitars, and retro synths. DoomScroller details the late-millennial struggle with short-form content addiction, ever-shortening attention spans, being a broke undergrad, and the desire to revert to simpler ways of living. The visual direction for their EP focuses on this desire retreat from pestering technological hyper-distractions, showcasing imagery buried in haze and CRT TV textures created with practical effects.
